Aisha Hinds, an American actor best well-known for her performances in the television series The Shield and True Blood. She has demonstrated her versatility throughout 2003, delivering impressive appearances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her performance as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her role as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) for the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind's portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground received a lot of praise. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. The two films shattered the traditional model that defined Bollywood film at the time which pushed Bachchan onto the forefront of what is now known as the New Bollywood. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood thanks to her role as Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas a film which was one of Bollywood's most acclaimed film productions. This was also the first Bollywood film to show at Cannes Film Festival. Following that, she was praised for her role in Chokher (2003) the intense drama based off RabindranathTagore's novel. That same year, she became the first Indian actor to sit on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made an appearance for the first time in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her star-power and elegance made her the perfect choice for the premier major film in English. After releasing Provoked The : A True Story in English, she made a return to Bollywood and starred in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan was a frequent actor and the son of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she married her. They were married in a ceremony that brought together two powerful Indian personalities.
